The Eden Project has installed a number of 360° video cameras on the Eden site. This is part of a project to trial augmented reality and virtual reality technologies, and their use for education and entertainment onsite and online. The camera footage may be live-streamed over the internet. The cameras are specifically positioned, as far as is reasonably practicable, to minimise the capture of personal images (personal data). However, it is inevitable with a 360° camera and the terrain, that there could be incidental capture of a visitor’s image. Signage is displayed where cameras are operating.

Father Christmas 2020 - Terms and Conditions
Tickets and Admission:
Every entry to the Father Christmas experience requires a pre-booked ticket, plus a valid form of Eden Admission, Annual or Locals’ Pass or Eden Project Membership.
You must also pre-book an associated timed entry slot for all members of your party (including U5s, carers) which is at least 30 minutes earlier than the start of your experience.
To help Eden provide you with the best possible service, we ask you to provide any access requirements you may have when booking your tickets. Please contact the Box Office on 01726 811972 boxoffice@edenproject.com if you will be taking a wheelchair into the experience, as space is limited.
The Father Christmas Experience:
The Father Christmas Experience will be located within the Core building.
Each session lasts approximately 30 minutes and will start promptly. The time will be stated on your ticket.
To ensure the highest safety standards for our visitors and team members, the Father Christmas experience will be different to previous years. Capacity for each show will be significantly reduced overall, and there is a maximum group size of 6 per booking in line with government guidelines. There will be no physical contact between Father Christmas and visitors, and social distancing guidelines must be followed. Any guests over 11 years must wear a face mask. However, we are taking every step to make sure the experience remains as magical as Father Christmas himself.
Group Size:
All bookings must now be made up of 6 people or less in line with government guidelines*. This includes babies on laps. Bookings with more than 6 people who are from a single household or in a support bubble should contact the Box Office on 01726 811972 or boxoffice@edenproject.com to discuss their requirements (please note, due to limited capacity, we may not be able to accommodate groups over 6 even if they meet government guidelines).
You will be seated in group bubbles in a waiting area before the performance and must remain seated in your bubbles during the performance.
All children must be accompanied by an adult, with a maximum of four children per one adult. Adult tickets cannot be exchanged or used as entry for a child.
Refunds and Transfers:
Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and valid for the stated time slot only (other than specific conditions related to COVID-19 stated below).
We are following the latest Government guidance. Should the event be cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions, a full refund will be provided – ticket purchasers will be contacted directly with details of the refund process.
Ice Skating - Terms and Conditions 2020/21
Your use of and purchase of tickets from this site is governed by the Terms and Conditions as set out below.
Eden Box Office tickets each have a unique barcode on them which will be scanned on entry. If the barcode on your ticket has already been scanned the barcode scanner will alert the attendant and you will not be admitted.
Skating tickets will have the date and time of your skating slot. These tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE and non-transferable. Skating visitors will need to also present valid admission for Eden and reserve an arrival time slot for their visit; including those who can visit for free, such as personal carers, under-fives. We advise skaters to book their Timed Entry slot for Eden for at least 30 minutes prior to their skating slot to avoid any delays in getting to the rink. Skaters should check-in at the ice rink no earlier than 15 minutes prior to their skating slot.
Skaters should enter/exit ice at the booked session times and use separate entrances/exits to spectators in accordance with the rink guidelines. We encourage all visitors to stagger their departure and clear the skating areas swiftly ready for the next session.
At peak times you may experience small delays. Each skate session lasts 40 minutes and will start on the hour. We have restricted capacity and to avoid disappointment please book in advance.
Use of the ice rink is entirely at your own risk and Eden shall not be liable for any death or personal injury, or any theft, loss or damage to personal possessions, unless caused by our negligence or breach of statutory duty.
Find out how we're keeping everyone safe on the rink here: https://www.edenproject.com/visit/whats-here/ice-skating#skatesafe
Skate sizes start at child size 8 (EU 25) and go up to adult size 15 (EU 50). Socks must be worn with skates and we do advise that an extra pair of socks is worn for comfort. We also offer bob skates for toddlers, in size 10 down to approximately size 5. These fit over their shoes but please note that, for smaller sizes in particular, suitability depends upon the style of the shoe.
We advise wearing gloves. Face mask or coverings are mandatory in all off-ice areas. Skaters should arrive “rink ready”. We have limited storage and due to the risks associated with handling personal belongings we are unable to keep bulky items (such as coats, bags, pushchairs) stored during your skating session.
Children aged 14 years and over can be unaccompanied both on site and on the ice. Children aged 8 to 13 years need a parent or guardian to be available either on the ice or around the rink. Children aged 7 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on the ice. We advise 1 on 1 supervision for children aged 18 months to 5 years. Minimum age is 18 months.
Family Ticket 2020/21 – Terms & Conditions
You will need to purchase Eden admission tickets and book a Timed Entry slot if you are going to use the ice rink, as this is situated within the Eden Project.
The family ticket type includes admission onto the ice for four: any combination of adults and children, and will show the date and time of your skating slot.

We reserve the right to restrict the number of guests accompanying people in this area, in order to accommodate the people who need the area. Note that this area has restricted viewing.
